New Nonfiction From Nat Geo Kids

Who’s ready for a giveaway?  Its Summer and kids are home from school, it is the perfect time for some fun, new nonfiction. Nat Geo Kids kindly sent me a set of these brand new titles, and I’d like to pass them on to one of you. So, here’s the deal: Share this on Facebook or Twitter before Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 10 pm Central time, and we’ll choose a winner Thursday morning.  I’ll have some grown-up books to give away next week.

Luna: The Science and Stories of Our Moon
Everything you’ve ever wondered about the Moon, plus gorgeous photos. Folklore to science, its all there.
Undaunted: The Wild Life of Biruté Mary Galdikas and Her Fearless Quest to Save Orangutans
You’ve probably read about Jane Goodall, but here is the story of Birute Mary Galdikas and her groundbreaking work with Orangutans.
This Book Is Cute
Sort of self explanatory, yet, still cute. All the cute things all in one book.
Kids will love paging through all the cute all the while learning some science along the way.
Captain Aquatica’s Awesome Ocean
by Jess Camp
I adore Nat Geo’s Science Superheroes series and this one about the oceans is extraordinary. It may look like a little kid cartoon book, but the science inside is above grade level and solid. If you don’t win, order it for the young oceanographer in your life.
