Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed and uncertain with all that’s going on right now. That’s completely understandable. Working full time and teaching your kids is a lot.
Should you keep calm and carry on? Or should you join the crowds and buy ALL the pasta?
I don’t have all the answers, heck! I’m not sure anyone does
But I want you to know that I’m here and I’m riding this with you.
In the last few days, I’ve been speaking with many new homeschooling families.
And here are my top takeaways that I hope will help you navigate this time
- You can do this. Tons of us are working and homeschooling, your floors will be dirtier, and you may eat cereal more, but hey *shrugs* 2020, no one is coming over anyway.
2. I want to help. So do other experienced homeschoolers. Join our Facebook group (Secular Inclusive Classical Teachers) and comb through our archives. We have some of the smartest parents in one place all together.
3. You can still sign your kids/teens up for my online literature round table classes. It’s one subject that you’ll be able to cross off your list. Registration is ongoing, sign up by Friday for our Septemeber books!
4. Most importantly, take care of yourself. I know the “me time” gets a bad rap, but we are all dealing with crazy times. It’s okay to take some time for yourself.
